Freddie Bell is an entertainment executive with 15+ years experience in the industry. Freddie started his journey in the entertainment industry as an intern with Sony Distribution and his journey came full circle when he signed his own deal with Sony’s independent distribution arm, the Orchard.
With diverse interests in such areas as Film, TV, and Music, Freddie over the years has forged multiple partnerships and key relationships. A frequent guest lecturer at Columbia College Chicago, Freddie stresses the importance of racial and gender equality, and has mentored several students over the years.
Freddie has started his own philanthropic organization, “A Gift from Glenn” that assists veterans with their basic daily needs. He is also an advisor for “Hunger has No Religion,” an organization that provides food and assistance to the homeless.
Freddie is a member of Black Perspectives (Chicago International Film Festival), Black house (Sundance), NATAS (Emmys) Chicago, and the Recording Academy (Grammys).
